Are you a Business for Good Coach?
Collab4Good and the South Australian Social Enterprise Council are inviting experienced coaches and sector leaders to join our Business for Good program. If you’re an expert in areas like finance, governance, marketing (or any of the topics listed below) and bring a strong social or environmental lens to your practice, we’d love to hear from you. Through this paid opportunity, you’ll deliver up to three one-on-one coaching sessions to help South Australian social enterprises strengthen their impact and sustainability.

Areas of expertise we’re seeking (any individual or combination of the below):
Business fundamentals: Business for good concepts, theory of change, impact measurement, business model design, design thinking, customer research, business and strategic planning, scaling up, risk management.
Governance and structures: Governance, compliance and legal structures, succession planning.
People and culture: Learning from First Nations people and culture, diversity and inclusion, leadership and management, succession planning, attracting, employing and retaining staff.
Operations and growth: Financial management, cash flow and budgeting, procurement and tenders, partnership development, sales and marketing, developing new markets and customers, preparing for natural disasters, cyber security and outages, increasing efficiency, preparing to access capital, environmental footprint.
Business for Good Sector Development Program 2025-27
The Business for Good Sector Development Program 2025-27 is an initiative of the Government of South Australia’s Office for Small and Family Business and the South Australian Small Business Strategy 2023 – 2030. Delivered in partnership by the South Australian Social Enterprise Council (SASEC) and Collab4Good, the 2-year Business for Good Program will support South Australian (SA) small social enterprise businesses with key business fundamentals to strengthen their knowledge, capacity and capability to deliver social, environmental and economic outcomes for SA with long-term business sustainability and growth.
Who is the program for?
Social enterprises, First Nations owned businesses or B Corps who are already championing good social and/or environmental impact through business: the Business for Good program is here to help you go further.
Traditional small businesses interested in how you might create more social impact, be more environmentally sustainable and/or recruit for diversity: the Business for Good program is here to support you to do so.
Eligibility
holds a current Australian Business Number (ABN); and
has its principal place of business situated in South Australia; and
is a small business (being a business that employs less than twenty (20) full time equivalent (FTE) employees) or a family business (being a business that is owned and controlled wholly or predominantly by members of the same family); and
is committed to learning and understanding how you can embed impact into your business.
You are welcome to join the Business for Good program and access all of the program activities if all of the eligibility criteria apply. If any of the criteria don't apply to your business there may still be some activities you can access. Is there a cost to participate?
Please be aware that activities attract a small fee as a co-contribution. You can find these fees below. We have an Equitable Access Policy if the fees are a barrier for you to access the program. Group Mentoring
Connect, learn and grow alongside other South Australian social enterprises through facilitated group mentoring sessions, hosted by the South Australian Social Enterprise Council (SASEC).
Every two months, you’ll have the opportunity to join a small group of peers and a dedicated facilitator to get general business guidance, share ideas, and learn from each other’s experiences.
