A just economy is one which is based on participation, equity, access, rights and responsibilities for all.

We contribute to this by bringing people together to learn, connect, collaborate and lead for good, underpinned by our core values of collaboration, decolonisation, inclusivity and stewardship.

We build the capacity and capability of learners, leaders and impact-driven businesses to deliver positive social and environmental impact and create a just economy.

Collab4Good was founded in February 2018 to foster collaboration between those who want to do good, and to accelerate the growth of impact-driven businesses, social enterprises and collaborative impact opportunities in South Australia at both the enterprise and systems change levels.

We are a social enterprise in our own right, we are industry and gender neutral but we operate using feminine principles and practices, and we have people and planet at the core of all that we do.

We are a community, coming together to facilitate collaborations and opportunities to meet current needs of the sector and community.

We thrive on pushing the boundaries, doing things differently, and role modelling the world we wish to see.

Collab4Good was founded by four multi-award winning female founders and local thought leaders; Moira Were AM, Sarah Gun, Amy Orange and Louise Nobes, who have each led social businesses in their own individual pursuits across Australia and recognise the profound power of collaboration to drive social change.

Since 2018, Collab4Good has continued to evolve as we welcomed new directors to the team who share the founding values and ways of working - Arianna Watson joined as Impact Director in 2024, and Mary-Jane Durbidge joined as our Lived Experience Director in 2025.

Our Co-Founders and Directors have joined forces to unite under a single mission to lead, learn, connect and collaborate to create the kind of just economy that we all want to see.

Collab4Good holds tight to our core values and ways of working that guide who, what and how we operate

Our Values

  • Collaboration

  • Decolonisation

  • Inclusivity

  • Stewardship

The ways we work

  • We embody our values

  • We do what we can, from where we are, with what we have

  • We recognise and embed the value of lived experience

  • We work with an understanding that everything is connected

  • We invest profits and energy into a just South Australian economy

Collab4Good is guided by a Theory of Change

If we…

build businesses that do good, bring people and organisations together through collaboration, help the wider business world learn to do the same, and champion our values and lived experience.

We will see…

more South Australian businesses choosing purpose over profit, more people feeling connected to a community working towards the same thing, and everyone gaining the support and recognition they deserve.

Which will lead to…

a thriving, connected and hopeful community - of individuals and businesses alike - that's well-resourced, celebrated, and ready to act so that doing good becomes simply how we live and work.

And ultimately…

a just economy built on participation, equity, access, rights and responsibility for all.

Collab4Good works towards this vision of a just economy through two key activity streams

Collaborative Impact Initiatives

Our collaborative impact initiatives are designed to bring together our networks and partners to drive collaborative action and outcomes on a specific social and/or environmental area of need.

Some examples of our current and past Collaborative Impact Initiatives are:

The Round - An accessible community gathering on Kaurna Country amongst people from diverse backgrounds who share a desire for a more inclusive, connected and empathic world. With a program of interactive activations designed and led by the community, this event fosters collaboration, connection, inclusive practice and celebrating stories across cultures.

Peers4Good - an individualised peer-led empowerment program supporting adult women (18+) exiting prison in South Australia, including First Nations women, who are at risk of isolation and/or discrimination, to re-engage and participate in their community.

Impact Chains - in 2021 and 2023 Collab4Good worked with a number of activators to curate a day of immersive systems change learning to drive understanding and awareness in individuals and organisations of how they can drive systemic change from where they are, with what they have.

Collab4Good Resilience Fund - The Resilience Fund was created in June 2020 following the impacts of the bushfires and COVID-19 crises for business owners. The Resilience Fund was created to support South Australian female founders of small businesses and social enterprises during times of unexpected hardship with a no-strings gift of financial relief up to $1,000.

Heaps Good Hustle Climate Revolution - Following the devastating bushfires of the Summer 2019/20 over 50 people came together for a day of individual and community healing, recovery and action plan as we all grappled with the devastating bushfire crisis and the broader climate emergency.

Capacity Building for Impact

Collab4Good creates opportunities for learning, connections and collaboration by delivering a range of activities which build the capacity of impact-driven individuals and organisations to deliver positive social and environmental impact through the power of business.

Some examples of our current Capacity Building Initiatives are:

Business for Good Workshop Series and Coaching Program - As a delivery partner of the Business for Good: Social Enterprise Sector Development Program 2025-2027 with the South Australian Social Enterprise Council, Collab4Good is delivering a series of workshops and a business growth coaching program to support South Australian social enterprises and small business to build their capacity to deliver social and environmental impact through sustainable business practices and growth.

Circular Impact Accelerator Program - The Circular Impact Accelerator is an intensive 6-week program delivered in partnership with Green Industries SA which brings together an array of local and national expertise and content to create a powerful circular economy social enterprise design course for people who have a circular economy enterprise idea to pursue and need support to explore their concept further.

Bespoke Capacity Building Services - We run tailored capacity building services supporting changemakers, governments and purpose-driven organisations to design, measure and grow their impact. This might look different for everyone so check out or list of services or just get in touch for a chat.

Lunch and Learn Series - Across 2020-2022 Collab4Good ran a series of monthly online Lunch and Learns with guest speakers on various topics of interest to impact-driven individuals and organisations. The recordings of these lunch and learns are accessible through our Vimeo account (2020 and 2021-22).
