A just economy is one which is based on participation, equity, access and rights for all.

Collab4Good brings people together to lead, learn, connect, and collaborate for good.

We build the capacity and capability of learners, leaders and impact-driven businesses to deliver positive social impact and create a just economy.

Collab4Good was founded in February 2018 to foster collaboration between those who want to do good, and to accelerate the growth of impact-driven businesses, social enterprises and opportunities in South Australia.

We are a social enterprise in our own right, we are industry and gender neutral but we operate using feminine principles and practices, and we have people and planet at the core of all that we do.

We are a community, coming together to facilitate collaborations and opportunities to meet current needs of the sector and community.

Collab4Good was created by multi-award winning female founders and local thought leaders; Moira Were AM, Sarah Gun and Amy Orange. We also thank Louise Nobes who was part of the initial Collab4Good founding team.

Each Co-Founder has led social businesses in their own individual pursuits across Australia, and recognise the profound power of collaboration in business and in community to enable social change.

We have joined forces to unite under a single mission to lead, learn, connect and collaborate to create the kind of just economy that we all want to see.

Collab4Good works towards this vision of a just economy through two key activity streams:

Collaborative Impact Initiatives

Our collaborative impact initiatives are designed to bring together our networks and partners to drive collaborative action and outcomes on a specific social and/or environmental area of need.

Some examples of our current and past Collaborative Impact Initiatives are:

Peers4Good - an individualised peer-led empowerment program supporting adult women (18+) exiting prison in South Australia, including First Nations women, who are at risk of isolation and/or discrimination, to re-engage and participate in their community.

Impact Chains - in 2021 and 2023 Collab4Good worked with a number of activators to curate a day of immersive systems change learning to drive understanding and awareness in individuals and organisations of how they can drive systemic change from where they are, with what they have.

Collab4Good Resilience Fund - The Resilience Fund was created in June 2020 following the impacts of the bushfires and COVID-19 crises for business owners. The Resilience Fund was created to support South Australian female founders of small businesses and social enterprises during times of unexpected hardship with a no-strings gift of financial relief up to $1,000.

Heaps Good Hustle Climate Revolution - Following the devastating bushfires of the Summer 2019/20 over 50 people came together for a day of individual and community healing, recovery and action plan as we all grappled with the devastating bushfire crisis and the broader climate emergency.

Capacity Building for Impact

Collab4Good creates opportunities for learning, connections and collaboration by delivering a range of activities which build the capacity of impact-driven individuals and organisations to deliver positive social and environmental impact through the power of business.

Some examples of our current Capacity Building Initiatives are:

Business for Good Workshop Series and Coaching Program - As a delivery partner of the Business for Good: Social Enterprise Sector Development Program 2023-2025 with the South Australian Social Enterprise Council and Social Traders, Collab4Good is delivering a series of workshops and a business growth coaching program to support South Australian social enterprises and small business to build their capacity to deliver social and environmental impact through sustainable business practices and growth.

Circular Impact Accelerator Program - The Circular Impact Accelerator is an intensive 6-week program delivered in partnership with StartSomeGood and Green Industries SA which brings together an array of local and national expertise and content to create a powerful circular economy social enterprise design course for people who have a circular economy enterprise idea to pursue and need support to explore their concept further.

Lunch and Learn Series - Across 2020-2022 Collab4Good ran a series of monthly online Lunch and Learns with guest speakers on various topics of interest to impact-driven individuals and organisations. The recordings of these lunch and learns are accessible through our Vimeo account (2020 and 2021-22).
