11-12 November 2021

Impact Chains is a 2-day event being held in Adelaide on Kaurna land at the Old Adelaide Gaol, designed to bring together impact drivers across all industries, sectors, professions and life experiences to learn, connect and collaborate to take measurable action to address the many complex social and environmental problems that we face here in Australia and globally.

Impact Chains will inspire, forge new connections and opportunities, and build your capacity to drive positive impact from where you are, with what you have.

Everything about Impact Chains is being curated intentionally to create the conditions needed for change, from the gritty name, to the discomfort and stories of the venue, to the procurement of goods and services from social enterprises and B Corps, to the considered accessibility both physically and financially, and to the format of our sessions which will be run by activators who embody collaborative practice and who will share their journeys with you - the good, the bad and the ugly - to inspire new thinking, new connections and opportunities for action.

An impact chain makes visible the varied interrelationships between activities and impact, which can be used as a framework for project plans and also to capture cause-effect relationships between certain activities and outcomes. Our sessions will look at real life examples of impact chains in action, including the knowledge chains, the network chains, the activity chains and the results chains that ultimately make up the bigger picture for action that contributes towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

So if you are an industry leader, investor (funder, philanthropist, angel or impact investor), policy writer, decision maker, procurement manager, corporate social responsibility and sustainability manager, intrapreneur, entrepreneur, or work within government then Impact Chains is for you!

And if you have a story to tell that aligns with collaborative practice and action towards any of the Sustainable Development Goals, please stay tuned as we prepare to put the call out for activators to submit expressions of interest to run a session at Impact Chains - calling all social innovators, entrepreneurs, collaborators, lived experience individuals and evaluators from near, far and wide.

More information and updates to come soon including EOI for activators, sponsors, ticket info and release dates, and exciting activations - make sure you join the Collab4Good mailing list to be the first to receive the news!

We can’t wait to get collaborating with you to forge new links for systems change.

ABOUT US

We created Collab4Good three years ago for three key reasons; the first is that there are many passionate people wanting to actively contribute towards a better world, the second is that many of the social and environmental issues we face are highly complex with many interrelated contributing factors, and the third is that multi-sector collaboration is the only way to enable real, large scale and sustainable change. None of us can do it alone. We created Collab4Good as a platform to bring impact driven leaders from communities, organisations and governments together to learn, connect, lead and collaborate to drive sustainable positive change.

Collab4Good is here to help create the conditions for systems change through collaborative action. This year we are ramping this purpose up to the next level and are set to deliver our first major annual event to kickstart multi-sector collaborative action.
